The GouMax UFP Optical Interleaver is a next-generation device with a wide passband, broad stopband, and high channel isolation.
It is a 3-port passive fiber-optic device that can function as a DeMUX or MUX. As a DeMUX, it splits an input DWDM signal into odd and even channels, doubling the channel spacing at each output. As a MUX, it combines two sets of DWDM channels into a denser interleaved signal—for example, merging 100 GHz channels into 50 GHz, and further into 25 GHz or 12.5 GHz for ultra-dense DWDM systems.
